Cinderella got crystal, but guess what? It broke! So now girl, you should totally go for plastic! But then you’ll say, “plastic shoes? Are you crazy??”. And I will say yes! Melissa shoes!

Ok, I grew up wearing these. My very first Melissa was a bright pink pair of shoes with a sweet little bee on it. I loved it so much. For any little girl, a pair of pink shoes is magic! And as I kept growing up the models were evolving, by the time I was a teenager Melissa had so many amazing shoes! Phew! Difficult to choose.  I remember getting those amazing girly shoes for birthdays, Christmas and even once my aunt gave me a gorgeous pair when I had great notes on an exam.

Sometimes I like to think a bit about the past. I was checking my first designs at Zazzle, and it’s funny to see some beginnings. I love stationery! When I was a teenager I received many stationeries from my cousin. They were really gorgeous! There were many paper sheets of Barbie and cute teddy bears. I wanted to keep them safe dedicating a folder to store them. At that time, one of the girls of my school asked me to see this collection, as she had a collection too. So after school I went to her house and we spent some time looking at each other’s amazing stationeries. I was getting late to get my bus back home, and I probably forgot the folder at her house.

All my life I lived with pets, always with a dog or cat, sometimes with a dog and a cat under the same roof. These little animals are always there for you. They give you love and make the day look happier and funnier. And that was my vision of pets, nothing more than a dog or a cat. I never thought of having a little bird, because despite all its beauty, I’d rather see them flying high on the sky. The little mice always looked cute, there were moments when I truly wished for one, but it really never attached to my mind.

Have you ever heard of RedBubble? I discovered it about one year ago, when I first opened my Zazzle store. I had a quicky look at the site, and I thought “that’s not for me”.

However, today I changed my point of view.

I don’t remember if RedBubble were already creating iPhone cases when I first checked their site, but after I had a closer look at their cases, I totally fell in love! I decided then, to give a try at their marketplace and added a few of my designs to it:

Hello Girly Girls !

Today I got inspired by one of my favorite singers to write this article. When I first listened to Colbie Caillat it was like if the room I was had suddenly been transported to a house near the beach. Her music style makes me think of nice sunny days, where the sun light gives everything a happier color like a dreamy picture.

I remember to listen to her song “Dream Life life” and wonder the same: “Dear summer will you find your way back home? I miss your golden kiss, how you warm my skin. Where did you go?”  Well, after all these cold months and grey sky, our dear friend Mr. Sun has finally come back bringing the wish to spend most of the time outdoors.
