I’ve loved seeing companies all over the world come together to help us all combat COVID-19 by making coronavirus protecting equipment including face masks. With coronavirus (COVID-19) and face mask use being mandatory or recommended in the United States, USA face mask makers have been doing their best to uplift the world by making these protective coverings as attractive and friendly to look at as possible. I don’t know about you but I’ve really appreciated seeing beautiful, stylish and cute face masks popping up which makes them look cuter! If we’ve got to wear these things, at least it’s nice to have the option for them to be cute, right? :)

I recently discovered that there’s such a thing as colour changing umbrellas available. They’re umbrellas that change colour when they get wet and then as they dry! When I discovered that I thought it was an incredible cool idea!

Here are a few of my favourites that I spotted when searching to see what magic umbrella options were available on Amazon.co.uk (you can click on the pictures to get to the relevant page on Amazon):

Following my discovery of floral combat boots, I got to wondering what other cute patterns could be found on shoes and since I’m a fan of stars (amongst other things), this is one of the first things I checked. Low and behond! There are tons of cool star shoes! Check it out!

If you hover over the shoes it will tell you what brand etc they are, and you can click on the picture you like to be taken to where they are available for sale.

I know these probably have been around for a while, but I only discovered them recently: Floral Combat Boots! The ultimate way to make an otherwise not-so-girly shoe, abundantly girly! From what I’ve read from reviews, it seems that Dr Martens make some of the highest quality ones.

Pretty! Right? I think it would look awesome with a Victorian style dress or skirt, like with shabby chic lace style outfit. A couple weeks ago I was browsing on facebook pages for stuff to share with you guys and I came across Breakfast for Dinner who just happened to be doing a giveaway that week for an adorable Hamilton Hamster plush toy. I really like helping out up-and-coming artists, designers and creators get the word out on their cute creations (and if I’m honest, a part of me also quite fancied winning a little Hamilton to add to my ever-growing plushie collection!) so I shared Breakfast for Dinner’s giveaway on our ohsogirly facebook page.

A little while later, after the giveaway had ended, I received this message from Breakfast for Dinner:

As I’ve been out and about London, I’ve observed that ballet flats are *everywhere*! Plain ballet flat shoes, ballet flats with ribbons and bows, ballet flats with flower decorations, and ballet flats in every color under the sun!

I think the ballet flat look (or ballet pump look, as it’s also sometimes known) is really girly and cute and I completely understand why they can also be known as “dolly shoes”. They kind of remind me of the shoes I used to dress my Barbies with when I was growing up! But they’re not just cute, since they don’t have a heel they’re usually also comfortable and easy to walk in which is so important.
