As you’ll know if you’ve read my His and Hers Love Pillowcases article, I am a romantic at heart and can’t help but awwww at cute couples stuff! So today when I saw this adorable his and hers keychain, I thought I’d share my discovery with you! Check it out!

The little boy has a magnet on his lips so that when you put the two keychains together, his lips stick to the girl’s cheek! ^_^

Today when I was out for a walk I spotted a neighbor walking her little dog, and her dog was wearing sock-like shoes! One of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! Something like this on a teeny tiny puppy, totting along happily:

This got me thinking about how I’ve noticed whilst living in Britain that many Brits love their dogs. Even the Queen is famous for her love of her adorable Corgies! I’m fairly sure it’s not just a British thing though! With this in mind, I thought I’d make a post about dog-themed bedroom decor for girly girls who love dogs!

Whilst listening to music on Spotify I came across the music of Elizabeth Mitchell and ever since then I’ve had her songs in my head!

Elizabeth sings cute folk songs for children in a beautiful, sweet voice. Her music generally has a folksy, acoustic feel. I found her songs to be really uplifting and it’s so cute that she gets kids to sing along with some of her recorded songs! It really made me smile :)

I think these happy songs can be great for kids as well as for adults who enjoy reconnecting with the part of them that used to like kids songs when they were younger!

From a young age, I was introduced to comic books by my mother who passed on this tradition from her own childhood. It occurs to me that when it comes to comic books for girls, some people may find it difficult to know where to start, so I thought I’d add my two cents worth into the mix! Anyone who knows me well knows that of all the animals, amongst my favorites are cute birds (top of the list are the European robin, chickadee and blue tit!). I even have a product range I invented called Chirpy Chums. So when I saw some of these gorgeous fabric bird placemats on Zazzle I liked them straight away!

I love cool concepts and I really have a thing for novelty gifts that look like other things. You know the type, iphones that look like cameras or 80s music cassette tapes, or clocks that look like giant floppy disks.

Over the past few days I’ve been thinking of designing something cool and unique myself and as I was lying in bed last night I came up with an idea: giant jewel pillows! (more…)

I recently read that according to studies in 1998 and 2006 by Alan Hirsch from The Smell & Taste Treatment Research Foundation, some of the perfumes that a large proportion of men found particularly attractive on women were…. wait for it! the smell of pumpkin pie and donuts!

With that in mind, I was curious to see if the body aroma market had tapped into this biological tendency and I discovered that it has indeed! And there are loads of delicious smelling perfumes, body sprays and other bodycare products out there, almost good enough to eat.
