I was just browsing the net for cute nail art ideas and came across this video by youtuber “cutepolish” for creating Nyan cat nail art! I thought it was super-cute and had to share it!

A couple of weeks ago I saw this photo on pinterest and tracked it down to the blog fabfatale.com which is full of inspiring manicures!

I ordered myself a bottle of Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer, Boom Boom Pow which arrived today, so today I had a go at recreating this look!

I’ve applied some nude / pink nail polish which I had at home (by OPI), followed by a coating of the Deborah Lippmann gold glitter polish and it came out looking really cute!

For my last birthday my brother got me these hot pink earphones (dB Logic EP-100 Earbud Headphones); a good gift for someone who loves music like I do. And they really are excellent earphones.

One problem though is that if you listen to music a lot like me, you may find yourself getting your earphone cables in a tangle occasionally. One way to solve this is with a cord manager, and when I was shopping around for cable tidy solutions, I was delighted to see that you can get some really cute ones! I wanted to share with you some of the cutest earphone winder devices and other related cable winders I found to help you wind up your excess cables whilst you’re using them and when you roll them up tidily after using them too. Cinderella got crystal, but guess what? It broke! So now girl, you should totally go for plastic! But then you’ll say, “plastic shoes? Are you crazy??”. And I will say yes! Melissa shoes!

Ok, I grew up wearing these. My very first Melissa was a bright pink pair of shoes with a sweet little bee on it. I loved it so much. For any little girl, a pair of pink shoes is magic! And as I kept growing up the models were evolving, by the time I was a teenager Melissa had so many amazing shoes! Phew! Difficult to choose.  I remember getting those amazing girly shoes for birthdays, Christmas and even once my aunt gave me a gorgeous pair when I had great notes on an exam.

I remember when I was little I used to look at pretty nail art with absolute awe. I would wonder how these artistically talented ladies managed to draw such beautifully intricate patterns and designs on their nails and I silently resolved to one day find out how they do it so that I could learn how to make such gorgeous nail art myself.
