What to wear with a white lace dress
May 22nd, 2012 by Lior
With the weather looking really beautiful today, I felt like coming up with a summery, girly fashion set that will keep you both cool, chic and cute all at once. This is what I came up with:
1. Filigree gold heart necklace
2. Pink & White Floral iphone case.
This outfit would also go well with a white lace iphone case.
4. Tri-color Heart drop earrings

Hearts always remind me of love and romance. With so many positive connotations to them, perhaps it’s easy to understand why so many girls (me included!) love hearts and heart patterns.

Contemporary Girly Girls Bedroom Decor
May 20th, 2012 by Lior
My previous two girls bedroom decor sets ( [a.] pink & white girls bedroom ; [b.] blue & pink girls bedroom) have both been of the shabby chic, country cottage variety. For something a little different, I had a go at designing a more trendy, contemporary girly girls bedroom. Here’s what I came up with!
I hope you like it! :D

Yes, even sandwiches can be cute!
You may have seen pictures of the amazing bento box art that some Japanese mothers make for their kids to take to school. But cute sandwiches don’t just have to be for kids! In fact, tiny adorable sandwiches have been part of the time-old English tradition of Afternoon High Tea for many years.
Why not get some sandwich cutters of various shapes to make your next picnic or garden tea party a little more fun and interesting?
You can get a bunch of cute sandwich cutters in various shops. Here are some of my favorites from Amazon.com: (more…)

Swimdresses
May 18th, 2012 by Lior
I love wearing swimdresses on a day at the beach or by the pool. They have all the appeal of a sexy minidress with the modesty of a one-piece swimsuit which makes for the perfect combination for those who are looking for pretty and chic swimswear that doesn’t reveal their tummy.
Swimdresses often come in a dress and matching pants set (although the pants are usually well-covered by the dress and not visible to onlookers). Apart from their advantageous coverability, another plus is that you can even walk down the road in your swimdress and get away with it looking like a minidress!
I’ve been on the lookout for the cutest swimdress designs out there, and here’s what I’ve found: (more…)
Learning to Dance Ballroom
May 18th, 2012 by Lior
Ever since the TV program Dancing with the Stars started being screened (or as it’s known in the UK, Strictly Come Dancing), a little seed was planted in me that thought: “That looks like fun!” Seeing the girls whirling around so gracefully and smoothly across the dance floor, dressed with the most beautiful clothes I’ve seen in a long time really made me want to have a go at this art of dance too. I shared this desire with my best friend who was also a fan of the show and we resolved to learn to dance ballroom together.
Shortly after making the resolution we went to a class together, but came away a bit disillusioned. Although it was a beginner’s class, everyone there seemed to know a lot more than us and we felt a bit like we had a tough time keeping up. Not only that, but since there were about 10 girls more than boys, it meant that as dance partners were rotated to let everyone have a go with a partner, I kept having to wait around until there was a free partner to dance with! In the end I think I spent more time in the lesson waiting for a partner than actually dancing. Suffice it to say, we didn’t particularly want to go back the following week. But the desire to learn was still there.
Last month it was my friend’s birthday and as I was considering which birthday presents to get him, our resolution to learn to dance popped into my mind, and suddenly I knew what I’d get him: A ballroom dancing DVD so that we could both learn to dance together at our own pace! (more…)
My first works at Zazzle
May 17th, 2012 by Julia
Sometimes I like to think a bit about the past. I was checking my first designs at Zazzle, and it’s funny to see some beginnings. I love stationery! When I was a teenager I received many stationeries from my cousin. They were really gorgeous! There were many paper sheets of Barbie and cute teddy bears. I wanted to keep them safe dedicating a folder to store them. At that time, one of the girls of my school asked me to see this collection, as she had a collection too. So after school I went to her house and we spent some time looking at each other’s amazing stationeries. I was getting late to get my bus back home, and I probably forgot the folder at her house.
