Sometimes I find a piece of jewelry that I love but for some reason I struggle to find an outfit that captures its spirit. You may have experienced this kind of thing before: standing in your underwear in your room, a gorgeous piece of jewelry that you know you want to wear glitters around your neck or finger and a gazillion items of clothing decorating your room as you pull one outfit after another from the closet and yet none of them feels right! Whenever I think of ribbons and bows I think of either 50s fashion, big poodle skirts, girls wearing ribbons in their hair or elegant prom-light dresses with sashes that give the illusion that you’re all wrapped up like a pretty present.

I really like the dash of cuteness ribbons and bows add to an outfit, so when I saw that bow jewelry was in existence too, I became an immediate fan. One of my favorite pieces of bow jewelry are bow rings, particularly those that pretend to be made of pliable material but are in fact eternally tied bows of silver or gold.

Hello Kitty is one of my favorite cute characters (or as you’d say in Japan, kawaii!). Everything about her is sweet: the fact that she’s so round that it makes you want to hug her, her beautiful smooth snow-white fur, her little bow and even some of the facts about her that most people don’t know about, like that Wikipedia describes her height as five apples and her weight as three apples! ^_^

Although she was invented in the 1970s, Hello Kitty has moved with the times and can now also be found on the most high-tech of equipment. Yes, there are even Hello Kitty USB flash drives now so that even something as ordinary as saving your work can be sprinkled with a touch of kawaii!

All my life I lived with pets, always with a dog or cat, sometimes with a dog and a cat under the same roof. These little animals are always there for you. They give you love and make the day look happier and funnier. And that was my vision of pets, nothing more than a dog or a cat. I never thought of having a little bird, because despite all its beauty, I’d rather see them flying high on the sky. The little mice always looked cute, there were moments when I truly wished for one, but it really never attached to my mind.

Today I was looking for accessories for my iphone and I accidentally stumbled across a pink iphone charger! I never knew they came in cute colors!

I really like it!

And not too expensive either! You can get them here on Amazon for less than a dollar if you just order one! Although there are also slightly pricier versions like this one.

In many cultures, a girl’s pearly whites are one of her most important assets in determining her beauty.

About a month ago, I switched toothpastes because whilst my previous toothpaste was keeping me cavity-free and was also keeping my dentist happy with the health of my teeth, lets just say it wasn’t winning any awards in keeping my teeth very white. In fact, I suspect that one of the essential oils in it was doing quite the opposite!

I try to be health conscious and choose toothpastes that are free of chemicals like parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate and other things which are often advised we stay clear of. After consulting with my friends who work in the Naturopathy and Nutrition field, I settled on a toothpaste called AloeDent: Whitening, which seemed a promising mix of being from the healthy end of the toothpastes and – well, it had “whitening” promised in its very name! I’ve been a member of the website, Cafepress, for a couple of months now. Cafepress is a great website that enables anyone to become a designer for a *huge* range of products, from t-shirts to jewelry, and from iphone covers to car license plates!

Today I signed into my account after being away from it for a couple of weeks and I discovered that they’ve expanded their already broad product range to include an opportunity to design your own bedding! For someone like me who has enjoyed designing things from a very young age (I remember begging my parents to take me to places where they let you decorate your own plates and mugs as soon as I could talk!), the prospect of being able to make your own bedding filled me with excitement!
